Beach
Our Beach super king ensuite bedroom with private balcony is based on the nearby west beach which is only a 5 minutes walk away from Tanglewood Lodge.
Speyside
Our Speyside ensuite double bedroom is based on the Malt Whisky Trail & Speyside – home of some of the world famous malt whisky brands. Speyside is also famous for salmon fishing, it’s wildlife as well as enjoying the outdoors either walking, cycling or traversing the River Spey in a canoe. You can enjoy the wildlife too – dolphins and whales, ospreys and oystercatchers. The coastal light, the sea air and beautiful scenery is truly breathtaking.
Golf
Within walking distance of Tanglewood, the old course is considered to be one of the finest links courses in Scotland. A classic links designed by Old Tom Morris with deep revetted bunkers, undulating gorse lined fairways and smooth fast greens. It is a superb test of golf with seven par fours over 400 yards. Henry Cotton’s preference for precision golf can be seen with the shorter but somewhat tighter new course with greens smaller than the Old but every bit as good, and equally challenging and rewarding.
Aviation
RAF Lossiemouth is within 5 minutes walking distance of Tanglewood and is home to the Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4 and Poseidon MRA1 and this room is a tribute to close connections the RAF has with the local community.
Outdoor Space
Tanglewood Lodge sits within a secluded wooded private garden. To the front there is a large outdoor patio for relaxing with seating area, bbq & firepit. A large grassed area is perfect for children’s games. To the rear there is a patio area and newly installed hot tub seating 4 with roof so is suitable for all weather. There is private outdoor parking with ample room for 5 cars on site.

Very close proximity to RAF front entrance gates & beach. The 4th tee of the Old Course and practice range is 52metres from Tanglewood’s front door.
